Examples of activities designed in the Language Classroom using the Internet (Writing Activity)

The brain becomes more intelligent when we learn something complicated. What makes an efficient brain is its capacity to generate experience and information more concise and more quickly, because there should be a multi-sensory stimulation and sensory sources; the more information, and the more sense, you learn in a better way. Learning must be meaningful, varied, practical and situated. Although nowadays the help of technology can help to customize the studies process as well).

In order to apply good constructivism and critical thinking, it’s important to consider different updating educational tools and programmed activities on authentic real world tasks in order to create a stimulating experience for the student´s knowledge. Always giving feedback, coaching them through the whole learning stages, providing them active learning that will lead to greater retention and higher appropriate level thinking or involvement during the class. Having any technological tool, the students will have an easier way to interact with others pupils for help each other out and as a result, they would be capable to achieve specific goals all together.

As well, it’s important to take into account the teacher’s planning, instruction, and management in order to have an effective lesson. Having an appropriate environment, the teacher could interact with his/her student, being able to control his student’s behavior and facilitating the students’ learning. Even without with the technological tools, we as teachers need to face and realize as you said, we might encounter some setbacks, as a result, an effective strategy can help to support the class and have corrective feedback from the students.

Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom

Dr. Howard Gardner, professor of psychology and educational sciences at Harvard University developed the theory of Multiple Intelligences.

Most individuals have this entire variety of intelligences. Now the combination of Multiple Intelligence with an appropriate use of technology will help teachers and students understand the individual learning strengths of each student performing complex tasks across the full spectrum of learning.

The following Concept Map describes the eight intelligences through which we are able to learn/teach new information and how the M.I can help to improve our learning with the use of technology.
